Mera antara timira mitavo
Sadaguru jyota se jyota jagavo
Translation:
May the light of the highest Self light my own inner light and may any darkness
that covers my heart be removed.
Verse 1
He jogeshvara he jnaneshvara (x2)
He sarveshvara he parameshvara (x2)
Nija krpa barasavo
Sadaguru
jyota se jyota jagavo
Translation:
May all the knowledge and wisdom of the paths of yoga be bestowed upon me. May
divine grace bless me and all others.
Verse 2
Hama balaka
tere dvara pe aye (x2)
Mangala darasa dikhavo
Sadaguru jyota se jyota jagavo
Translation:
May I always remember and take refuge in the Self which constantly reveals
inner divinity.
Verse 3
Shisha
jhukaya kare teri arati (x2)
Prema sudha barasavo
Sadaguru jyota se jyota jagavo
Translation:
May we always revere the teachings that set us free and which allow the nectar
of compassion to flow.
Verse 4
Antara me yuga yuga se soi (x2)
Chiti shakti ko jagavo
Sadaguru jyota se jyota jagavo (x2)
Translation:
The divine spiritual energy chiti has been sleeping within us for ages. May
our inner shakti be awakened.
Verse 5
Sachi jyota jage hrdaya me (x2)
So'ham nada jagavo
Sadaguru
jyota se jyota jagavo
Translation:
The flame of the Self is alive in our hearts. May we awaken to the music of the
mantra So'ham, "I am that".
Verse 6
Jivava muktananda avinashi (x2)
Charanana sharana lagavo
Sadaguru jyota se jyota jagavo
